Automated Test Assembly

The Test Template

Before using the Auto Build option to setup a test the user will need to create a Section Template.  

Note: Section Templates require that all items used in a Section Template are tagged.

1. Go to Tests module

2. Select the Section Templates Tab 

3. Select Add Section Template

4.

• Template Name
• Template Description 
• Total Target - number of items in the template

5. Select Add

Template Content

• Enter the Tag and the number of items for that element.

Example - Item Tag = Level.Easy; Target = 10 Items

• Add new elements to make up the target number for the template

6. Click on Save & Exit

• Edit Template Name
• Edit Template Description

Additional Item Criteria

1. Enter Target Difficulty (P) range for the Items to be added to the Template.  

Creating the Test using the Test Template

1. Go to Tests module

2. Click on the “Add Test.

3. Go to the Test Section and click on the "+" icon to add items to the section.

4. Click on the “Auto-build” button

5. Select the template to automatically assemble the test section.

6. Click on the “Auto-Build” button

7. Edit / Add Items according to requirements

8. Click on Save & Exit to Save Test Section
