In Assess.ai, high-quality items undergo a meticulous Review process that is organized into distinct stages.
Each of these stages is visually represented as Swimlanes in a Kanban board within Assess.ai, allowing for a clear and organized workflow. The Swimlanes help users to easily track the progress of items through each review stage.
Furthermore, Assess.ai includes an automatic submit feature, which can be customized for each swimlane. This feature automates the transition of items from one stage to the next based on predefined criteria, streamlining the review process and ensuring efficient progression through the various stages.
Setting up Swimlanes
Go to Admin / Configuration / Items
Adding a New Swimlane:
- Enter the Swimlane Name
- Enter the Swimlane Description
- Select any User Tags that will have access to this Swimlane
- Click on Add to Save the changes
Establish the Submit Criteria for Submitting during the review process.
Rules can be defined to manage the submission of reviewed items in a Swimlane. The following actions can be defined:

| Move to Next Swimlane | Move items in This Swimlane to the next Swimlane |
| Change Status | Change to status of the Items in This Swimlane |
| Change Source value | Change the Source values of the Items in This Swimlane |
| Change depth of knowledge value | Change the Depth of knowledge value of the Items in This Swimlane |
| Change custom field value | Change the Custom Field values of the Items in This Swimlane |
| Rename item name | Rename the Items in This Swimlane |
