Auto Naming Items

Assess.ai can be configured to automatically allocate an Item ID / Name.

Configuration

• Go to Admin / Configuration
• Scroll down to and select  : Implement auto-naming of Items

The format of the Item Name will be:

Adding a New Item

• Go to Items
• Select Item Bank
• Select Add Item

The Name of the item will be automatically generated

Add the item content and select Save and Exit

Search for Item by selecting Status = New

• Go to About Tab
• Change Status = e.g. Active
• Save and Exit

Note:

Item name : the New is dropped from the Name: 01 Maths.00042 

The Item Number may change
