Working with Required (Mandatory) Custom Fields

Custom Fields are setup in the Admin / Configuration Module

To make the custom field required the Required will be set to Yes.  When the item author captures the item the data for this custom field is mandatory. 

If the user does not capture the data for this custom field the following message will display when saving the item:

If the user selects Confirm,  the Incomplete status field (About Tab) on the item will display as Yes:

Searching for Incomplete Items

Select the Advanced Search on the Items Screen

This will display all Incomplete Items.

Export #	Export the Incomplete Items
Bulk Edit #	Bulk Edit the Incomplete Items
Duplicate #	Duplicate the Incomplete Items
Delete #	Delete the Incomplete Items
