Configuring the Assess.ai Workspace

Users that have the Partner Admin Role have the rights to Configure the Workspace. 

There are various sections in the Configuration Setup which are separated into 4 Sub Screens (Tabs)

Take note that some of the setup options are Client Specific and will not be visible on every workspace.

Workspace

Organization Name	Name of the Organization Assess.ai is registered to
Website	Website of your organization
Emails for User Login Report	At the end of each month a User Login Report will be emailed to the addresses entered.  The user login report is an audit trail of all logins to Assess.ai during the Previous month.
Should the Passing Point or Cutscore be inclusive or exclusive?	The Passing Point or Cutscore is added to the Scoring section of a Test.  There are 2 formats that could be used for the Passing Point or Cutscore: Inclusive: if a cutscore of 70 is required, the Inclusive format will include 70 as a pass and any candidate that gets 70 and above will pass. Exclusive: if a cutscore of 70 is required, the Exclusive format will exclude 70 as a pass and any candidate that gets 71 and above will pass.
Expiration Date	This is the date that this instance of Assess.ai with expire.
Disable Internet Explorer Support	When selected this option will prevent a Candidate from taking a test using Internet Explorer.
Enable examinee duplicate checking	When importing examinees for a Session duplicates will be checked by email address and External ID.
Allow backward navigation	Set "Allow Backward Navigation" to true on all Sessions.
Implement auto-naming of items	Newly created items will have the naming rule of "New.BankName.Number", where the number is automatically sequenced.
Additional Sign up Feature	Allow user(s) to self-register for Assess.ai, approval from Administrator required.
Automatically Create Session ID	Session ID's will be generated when a new session is added.
Item description read only	Enabled to ensure that the Item description if read only.  User will be unable to edit the Item Description.
Include Unused tags in item report	When selected the Export items spreadsheet will include ALL Tag Groups.
Prevent users from scheduling a session more that ____ days from the current date.	Feature will only allow sessions to be created by the specified number of days before the session is due to  commence.
Logo	The logo is displayed to users in the upper left area of the screen, and on the login portal screen for examinees.

Users (tags)	User must have at least one tag assigned.
Registration token expiration in hours	The number of hours a new user has to verify their login and password.  Default is 168 hours (7 days)
Logo in header of test taking interface (jpg or png files are accepted)	Upload to the logo to display on Examinee Portal
Watermark (jpg or png files are accepted)	Display an image/logo/watermark in header of test delivery interface.

Session Configuration

Limit Sessions to only one test Set cutscore at Session Level, not Test Level	This feature lets the user set the cut score for a test at the session level. Note: You cannot set cut scores in both the Session and the Test.
Require all sessions to use lockdown browser	For security reasons all sessions will be enabled with Weblock Lockdown Browser.
Use Candidate confirmation for all sessions.	An additional screen will be displayed to all candidates to confirm their information
Send confirmation email to examinees and display confirmation selection in session dashboard.	A confirmation email will be sent to all candidates registered in a Session.  The candidates have the option to Confirm / Acknowledge the Exam.
Require a session template to be chosen when creating a new session	Predefined Session Templates can be created to simplify setup and ensure consistent security, defaults, and user access settings.
Enable retest/reregister with a default value of X days Default days between retest*	This will manage the number of days between candidate registrations for the same session. Enter the number of days between retest
Session audit report (Collecting events and user behavior during the session)	Collecting events and user behavior during the session

Session Default settings

Set the default settings for any new session that is added:

• WebLock 
• Notepad
• Retakes
• Alternate Forms

Remote Proctoring	Enable remote proctoring. Session can be proctored by Users.
AI Feature	Enable Automatic Item Generation.  Item generation using content documents 3rd party AI AI-powered language model.

Agency / Examinee Requirements

Agency options

Use Agencies with Test Scheduler and Examinees	The Test Scheduler User role will be limited to scheduling tests for their agency.
Use Agency instead of workspace name as organization in pre-session confirmation screen	Used in conjunction with the Candidate Confirmation screen - the organization will be shown as the Agency.
Enable Agency user groups	Group users by Agency
Use agency for Test Coordinator	When a Test Coordinator is assigned to a session this user must belong to the same agency user group.
Use agency mandatory on ADA signup	Users that are using self sign up require an Agency to be selected.
Term for Agency	Description to use for Agency (e.g. institution, agency, program, college, etc.)

Examinee Requirements

Require Examinee Email	Select to default the examinee email address to a mandatory data field.
Require Examinee External ID Number	Select to default the examinee External ID to a mandatory data field.
External ID Display Name	Customize how "External ID" appears in the UI and reports (e.g., "Student ID", "Candidate ID")

Multifactor Authentication

When selected, Multi-factor authentication will require users to login to Assess.ai using MFA.  See notes for Users - Multi-factor Authentication - Users

A list of Approved IP Addresses to bypass MFA can be included in the space provided.  Where there are multiple IP Addresses use a semicolon as the list separator.

Prevent Examinee Registration

When enabled, Prevent Examinee Registration will allow the users to select the number of days between each test delivery for a Candidate.  i.e. An Examinee who takes TEST A will be unable to register for TEST A for # number of days.

Use the Test Tag Group to prevent the examinee from taking a Test within the same Group.  

Test Security Agreement

A Test Center Agreement can be setup for all users that sign up using the Self - Registration option. User Sign-up and Approval
