Assess.ai is organized into modules that align with each key stage of the test development cycle. This structure not only groups related functionality in a way that simplifies navigation for users, but also provides the backbone for role-based access. For example, if a staff member is responsible solely for student enrollment and should not have visibility into test content, you can assign them access exclusively to the Examinees module.
The tiles on the Main Menu correspond to these modules.
Module | Description |
Items | Create and manage high-quality items with key metadata, streamline reviews, use automated item generation, and easily manage media assets to keep your item bank organized and up to standard. |
Tests | The Tests module lets you create test forms or item pools for various assessment types, including Linear, CAT, MST, and LOFT. |
Examinees | Examinees are the individuals taking the test. Manage large groups easily with unlimited tags, hierarchies, and demographic details. |
Sessions | A session is the scheduling of a test for examinees. The Session workflow allows the user to create an individualized session for each test. Examinees are assigned to the sessions. |
Agency / Institution | The Agency feature allows users to log in and administer tests on behalf of a third party, division, or client. It provides controlled access so users can only view and manage the examinees, sessions, and results that belong to their assigned agency, ensuring secure and organized test administration across multiple groups. |
Marking | The essay scoring module is designed to evaluate and score essay-type responses provided by examinees. Each essay item has a predefined maximum score set during its creation. |
Analytics | Psychometric evaluation reports provide comprehensive analysis for test items and overall assessments. Leveraging advanced statistical methods, we ensure your assessments are reliable, valid, and fair. |
Reports | The reports allow you to explore and visualize student results, providing valuable insights into their performance. |
Tags | Unlimited Tagging is a feature that allows users create and assign an unlimited number of descriptive tags to items, tests, sessions, examinees, users, assets and references within the system. |
Admin | Setting up the system for users, configuring the workspace, reviewing swimlanes, and customizing fields involves establishing a structured environment where users can interact efficiently and configurations can be managed effectively, while considering unique requirements. |
