Modules in Assess.ai

Assess.ai is divided into modules that correspond to major steps within the test development cycle.  The modules neatly divide functionality in a way that makes it easier for users to navigate, but, more importantly, the modules serve as the foundation for role-based access.  For example, you might have a staff member in charge of student enrollment who you do not want to see any test content; they can be assigned to only the Examinees module.

The tiles in the Main Menu correspond to these modules.

Component	Purpose
Items	Manage item banks, author high-quality items, store important metadata, automated item generation, item review/workflow, manage assets (multimedia files)
Tests	Assemble linear test forms or CAT/MST/LOFT pools, according to content and psychometric specifications
Examinees	Manage large sets of examinees with unlimited tagging/hierarchy and demographics.
Sessions	Publish test forms to online delivery with scalable security.
Marking	Essay marking module. Mark / Score essay type items submitted by examinees.
Analytics	Evaluate items and tests with automated psychometric reports: CTT, IRT, forensics, dimensionality.
Reports	Explore and visualize student results to gain insight into the performance.

Admin	System setup for Users, Configuration and Swimlanes.
