The Examinees module serves as a central repository to manage all examinees (students, test-takers, candidates) that are in the system, which are later assigned to take tests in the Sessions module. This separation of Examinees from scheduling is designed to reflect the fact that students are likely to take more than one test with an organization over the course of their lifetime.
The Examinees module provides the following tasks, which are described in more detail within their own articles.
Creating a Single Examinee | If you need to create a single examinee, such as a late arrival, you can do so within Assess.ai. |
Uploading Examinees En Masse |
Most likely, you will have many examinees, and it saves time to upload them from a spreadsheet rather than create one by one. |
Managing/Editing Examinees |
Do you need to edit the name of a single examinee, or fix a typo in their email address, or reassign them to a different group? Click on an examinee to open the Edit Examinee screen. You can find examinees by using the search/filter functionality on the left. |
Tagging Examinees | To assign examinees into groups, you will need to tag them. This can be any grouping, and you are allowed multiple groupings. For example, in education you might have a primary hierarchy of district/school/teacher/section, but you might also have secondary variables like ethnicity, or urban/rural. To define such groupings, your account Admin must work in the Tags module. |
