Note: the header of the Item Editor interface has four tabs: Item Content, About, Statistics, and History. This article discusses the content of the item, which is where most of the work takes place for developing an item. The other tabs are also important.
The About tab is used to store commonly used metadata regarding the item, including: Item Names, Description, Tags and Enemy Items .
|Item ID||Short Description / Name of the Item|
|Author||Author of the Item|
|Created on||Date when Item was created|

The Statistics tab stores classical and item response theory statistics for the items, so that these can be used later in form assembly and scoring algorithms, as well as being stored here for posterity.
The History tab of an item, provides a running history of user interactions with the item.
- Click on then name of an item within the Item Bank.

*Enemy Items are any two or more items that should not appear on the same test form. These items may address the same material, or one may provide clues about the answer to another item. If you are publishing a computerized adaptive test (CAT), enemy items will be handled automatically during delivery
Enemy Items are setup by going to the Item and selecting the About Tab.
Select an Enemy Item to the Item being edited.
In addition, the reciprocal item will be flagged.
Example: Item ei - 001 has an enemy item ei - 002 therefore item ei- 002 will automatically be flagged with enemy item ei - 001
